Yoga with Eline

My journey

From student to teacher (and still a student:)), this is the path that led me to share the transformative practice of yoga

How it all began

Hi, I'm Eline. I'm in my mid-twenties and happiest when I'm exploring - whether that is traveling to new places, diving into a new project, or discovering something about others or myself. Yoga found me slowly. Not through one big moment, but in the quiet. I started practicing in my late teens - originally just to stretch out sore muscles. Upon practicing more and regularly, I started to notice a shift, my awareness grew and I was able to listen to my body. I kept coming back to that. Fast forward a few years, I found myself overlooking the Himalayas while doing a 200 hour teacher training. Yoga and its way of life have become one of my core foundations. It brings me mindfulness, stillness, healing, joy, and a deep sense of connection and belonging to the living world. Yoga for me is a way to celebrate life.

During my teacher training I realized yoga is not about finding the perfect pose - it's about meeting yourself where you are, with more kindness and awareness. Somedays that means slowing down, other days it means challenging yourself. One of the core ideas is becoming more present in the body. For many of us, raised with the idea that mind and body are separate, yoga can open a door to new perspectives, emotions, and inner discoveries.

I practice and teach various yoga styles ranging from Ashtanga Vinyasa to restorative Yoga, and more. I always incorporate meditation and pranayama (breathwork) in my classes. I have taught at Utrecht University, at local events both in the Netherlands and in Thailand, and online classes. I love to share my energy with others and introduce them to, or assist them in their Yoga journey.

Teaching perspective

I believe yoga helps you reconnect your mind and body, feel at ease with yourself, heal, or simply find a moment of calm. In a world that constantly pushes us toward perfection and achievement, yoga invites us to let go of that pressure.
